Virginia Pooley Camden, 77, of Buena Vista, died Friday, January 15, 2010.

Born May 4, 1932 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Edna Pooley.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Camden, Sr.

Surviving are a son, David D. Camden, Jr. and wife, Christy of Winston-Salem, NC; five daughters, Patricia Camden Beard and husband, Barry, Barbara Camden Clements and husband, Mike, all of Buena Vista; Gracie Camden Holstein and husband, Tylor of Lexington, Kathy Camden Harvey of Raleigh, NC, and Wanda Pooley Watkins of Natural Bridge; one brother, Winfred "Dickie" Armstrong and wife, Maxine of Staunton; a half-brother, Leon Pooley and wife, Brenda of Buena Vista; eleven grandchildren: Tasha Humphries, Brooke Tomlin, Mikel Clements, Holly Clements, Logan Camden, Lauren Camden, Derrick Ogden, Jessica Holstein, Guy Holstein, Jeff Dorey and Teresa White; ten great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, January 18, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 Ð 8 p.m. Sunday, January 17, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA..
