Obituary for James M. Ingram James M. Ingram
Burke Parsons Bowlby Retiree Dies At Age 93

James M. Ingram, age 93, of 86 Crooked Spur Road, Millboro, Virginia, went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 18, 2010 at Bath County Community Hospital in Hot Springs.

He was born June 20, 1916 in Bath County, Virginia and was retired from Burke Parsons Bowlby.

He was a lifelong member of Calvary Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances Kennedy Ingram in 1993 and a son, Jimmy Ingram in 1999.

He is survived by a son, Sammy Ingram of Millboro; three daughters, Barbara Ingram Loyd and husband, Jimmy of Mt Solon, Peggy Ingram Bosserman of Millboro, and Nancy Ingram Brooks and husband, Henry of Millboro; a daughter-in-law, Thelma Ingram of Millboro; eight grandchildren, Kevin Bosserman, Sandy Bosserman, Barry Bosserman, Mark Bosserman and wife, Kathleen, Roger Ingram and girlfriend, April Robinson, Cristy Loyd Myers and husband, John, Lisa Ingram Hodge and husband, David and J. J. Ingram and girlfriend, Mandy Kay; nine great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews, as well as special pets "Tubby" and "Jake".

A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday, January 21, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in Calvary Baptist Church, Millboro, Virginia, with Reverend John Green officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the Millboro Fire Department, PO Box 244, Millboro, VA 24460.
