Obituary for Velma Coleman Bradley Velma Coleman Bradley
Amherst Native Was Buena Vista Resident

Velma Coleman Bradley, 84, of Buena Vista, was taken by angels peacefully to our Lord Jesus Christ, Monday, January 19, 2010 on her 64th wedding anniversary.

Born December 16, 1925 in Amherst, she was a daughter of the late Clarence "Yokley" and Wavie Vest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Earsey Coleman and brother-in-law, Alba "Punk" Kerr.

Surviving are her husband, Eddie Wilson Bradley; a son, Stanley Wilson Bradley and wife, Charolette Marie; two sisters, Arnona E. Kerr and Lucille Coleman and husband, Robert Sr. of Buena Vista; and one granddaughter.

She will be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 22, 2010 at Oronoco Church of the Brethren with Rev. Arnold Bradley and Rev. Stan Ogden officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 Ð 7 p.m., Thursday, January 21, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
