Obituary for Clem Douglas Trent, Sr. Clem Douglas Trent, Sr.
Richmond, Virginia Native Was Retired Army Master Sergeant

Clem Douglas Trent, Sr., age 96, of Hampton, VA, formerly of 316 Church Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Thursday, January 21, 2010 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Hampton, Virginia.

He was born January 21, 1914 in Richmond, Virginia, the son of the late Eliza and Adeline Roach Trent.

He was a retired Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force, where he worked as a mechanic.

He was also a member of the Veterans Of Foreign Wars.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Inez Alderson Trent in May of 1994.

He is survived by a son Clem Douglas Trent, Jr and his wife, Elvalee H. Trent, of Hampton; and a granddaughter, Clara Lyn Trent.

A funeral service will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday from the Chapel of Nicely Funeral Home in Clifton Forge, with the Reverend W. Pembroke Hall officiating. A private interment will take place at a later time in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, is handling the arrangements.
