Laverne McFeeley, 64, of Glasgow, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, January 24, 2010.

Born October 23, 1945 in Charleroi, PA, she was a daughter of the late Blanchard and Arvilla McFeely.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jack McFeely and Alvin McFeely; a half-sister, Doreen Hitt; two half brothers, Glen Wenzel and Harry Wenzel.

Surviving are two brothers, James McFeely and Donald McFeely and wife, Penny; three sisters, Blanche McFeely Bongiorna, Ada McFeely Kuhel and Genevive McFeely Smith; two daughters, Tina McFeely and Rhonda Bassich; three granddaughters, Amber Jackson, Leanna Bassich, and Rebecca Bassich; three grandsons, Shawn E. Jackson, Jr. and wife, Jalessa, Montel Stores and Devin Stores; three great grandchildren, Mikayla, Lilah, and Robert; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. McFeeley was a loving, caring mother, grandmother and friend.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at Union Baptist Church, Glasgow with Rev. Horace Rice officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be private.
