Obituary for Joyce Ann Ginger Joyce Ann Ginger
Homemaker Was First Christian Church Member

Joyce Ann Ginger, age 71, of 800 W. Ridgeway St, Ridgeview Apartments, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Tuesday, January 26, 2010 at her residence.

Born May 10, 1938 in Alleghany County, Virginia, she was a daughter of the late Charles Alfred and Martha Helmick Hazen.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Christian Church in Covington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Ryan Adam Ginger, Jr. and a brother, Charles Alfred Hazen, Jr.

She is survived by a daughter, Theresa Ginger; a son, Ronald Ginger; a sister, Nancy Bowling and husband, William of Clifton Forge; a brother, William Franklin Hazen and wife, Joyce of Covington; his mother-in-law, Agnes C. Whiteside of Natural Bridge; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; a number of nieces and nephews; and her extended family, J. B. Broughman and Darlene Thomas.

A graveside funeral service was held on Thursday at 3:00 p.m. in Mountain View Cemetery, Clifton Forge with Reverend J. B. Broughman officiating. There was no formal visitation.; however, friends may call any time at the Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
