Kelly Gene Bowles, Sr., of 810 N. Pocahontas Ave, Covington, Virginia, died Thursday February 4, 2010.

He was born May 16, 1972 in Alleghany County, a son of Patty Steel Bowles of Covington and the late Minitree E. Bowles.

Kelly was employed at Jen Fab, Inc. as a machinist and loved his job.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Beulah Steele and also two uncles.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Jesse Hubbard Bowles of Covington; five children, Kelly Bowles, Jr.; Richard Bowles and Amber Bowles, all of Gloucester; Hayden Bowles and Grace Bowles, both of Covington; his sister, Brandy Bowles of Covington; maternal grandfather, Clayton Steele of Covington; his uncle, Robert Steele of Covington; two aunts, Judy Wray of Vinton and Sandy Martin of Conyers, GA; nephew, Nolen Via of Covington; special cousin, Thomas Wray of Rocky Mount; his extended family, Bill and Martha Reynolds; Ben and Mary Sue Hubbard; Kelsey Entsminger and Clarence Catron; Cole Entsminger and a niece, Bralin Entsminger, all of Covington.
