Virginia Cash Moran, went to be with the Lord on Monday, February 8, 2010.

She was born April 13, 1931 in Pisgah, VA, the daughter of the late Robert and Margaret Cash.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Moran; and two brothers, Leonard Cash and Burnett Cash; one sister, Ruby Mozzo.

Virginia was employed at Lees Carpet and the Lyric Theatre before becoming a nurse. She worked as a nurse at Stonewall Jackson Hospital and Western State Mental Hospital before retiring in 1997.

Surviving are a son, Steve Moran and wife, Ann; a daughter, Margaret Green and husband, Gary, all of Lexington; one granddaughter, Amanda Green; one step granddaughter, Maggie Alderson.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, February 11, 2010 at the Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. R. W. Swisher officiating. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Alzheimers Association, P. O. Box 96011, Washington, DC 20090-6011. The family will receive friends from 5 Ð 7 p.m. Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
