Alison Wilhelm Mutispaugh, 47, of Lexington, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010.

Born December 12, 1962 in Lexington, she was a daughter of Mary G. "Peggy" Wilhelm and the late John Preston Wilhelm.

Alison was a very active and dedicated member of the Lauderdale ARP Church in Lexington.

In addition to her mother surviving are one son, Daniel Mutispaugh of Lexington; one daughter, Erin Dyer and husband, Alan of Alexandria, VA; one sister, Mary Beth Butler of Myrtle Beach.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Lauderdale ARP Church with the Rev. Benjamin W. Dowling III officiating.

Burial will follow in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home. Contributions may be made to the Lauderdale ARP Church, 300 South Main Street, Lexington, VA 24450.
