Obituary for James David (Red) Kitt James David (Red) Kitt
Retired Construction Worker Was Low Moor Native

James David (Red) Kitt, 63, of 801 White Rock Gap Road, Covington, Virginia, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge.

He was born in Low Moor, Virginia on October 22, 1946, a son of the late Norville Bishop and Eula Mae Bush Kitt.

He was a retired construction laborer.

He is survived by 3 brothers: Leonard O. Kitt of Low Moor, Preston W. Kitt of Selma and Johnny R. Kitt of Richmond.

He is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Tina Blair of Low Moor and special friend, Frances Fairburn of White Rock Gap, Covington.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Alice Marie Marshall and by brothers Vernon Kitt, Melvin Lewis Kitt and Henry Kitt.

In keeping with his wishes, his body was cremated. There will be no funeral service at this time. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions in his name to the Mountain Regional Hospice Volunteers, P.O. Box 637, Clifton Forge, Virginia 24422 or the Golden Living Center, Clifton Forge.

Arrangements are being handled by Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia.
