Homemaker Was Life Member Of The Low Moor Presbyterian Church

Patricia Ann (Susie) Holt, age 62, of 1418 Richmond Street, Selma, Virginia, died Thursday, March 4, 2010 at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville.

She was born on April 8, 1947 in Clifton Forge to the late William Berkley Oyler and Kathleen Hawes Oyler.

She was a homemaker throughout her life and was a member of Low Moor Presbyterian Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Andrew Holt.

She is survived by her husband, Fred E. Holt, Jr. of Selma; a daughter, Lisa Worley and husband, Ray of Valley Ridge, Covington; a son, William Holt and wife, Lisa of Covington; a brother, Kenneth "Punk" Oyler and wife, Darlene of Clifton Forge; five grandchildren, Brittany Mays, Nicholas Worley, Steven Holt, Taylor Holt and Madison Holt; a niece, Melissa Borduas; two great nieces and several cousins.

A graveside funeral service will be conducted on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. in Sunrise Cemetery, Low Moor, with Reverend Lisa Marshall officiating. Friends and family will be gathering at Nicely Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, then will proceed to the cemetery. There will be no formal visitation. However, friends may call any time at Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge and at the residence, 1418 Richmond Street, Selma, VA.

The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions in Susie's name to the ChildrenŐs Miracle Network, 205 West 700 South, Salt Lake City, Utah 84101 or to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, Memorial and Honor Program-F, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, is in charge of arrangements.
