Rockbridge County Native Dies At Age 54

Larry Wayne Blackwell, 54, of Buena Vista, died Friday, February 5, 2010.

Mr. Blackwell was born June 8, 1955 in Rockbridge County and was the son of the late Wallace Blackwell and Maebeth Blackwell.

Mr. Blackwell is survived by his three brothers, Wallace Blackwell, Ricky Blackwell, and Rex Blackwell; and a sister, Ruth McCormick.

A memorial service will be conducted at the Pentecostal Outreach Church in Buena Vista, Saturday, March 20, 2010, at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Larry Clark and Rev. James Smals officiating.

Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
