Obituary for Tonya Renee Tinglert Tonya Renee Tingler
Recent AHS Graduate Was March Of Dimes Ambassador For The Alleghany Highlands

Tonya Renee Tingler, 18, of 3219 Douthat Road, Covington, Virginia, died Wednesday, March 10, 2010 at Alleghany Regional Hospital.

She was born December 3, 1991 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the William "Moe" and Cynthia Stalnaker Tingler of Clifton Forge.

Tonya graduated in January 2010 from Alleghany High School. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and was the 2000 March of Dimes Ambassador for Alleghany Highlands.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, William Homer Tingler.

In addition to her parents, Tonya is survived by two sisters, Tiffany Tingler and Amber Tingler, both of Clifton Forge; her niece, Alexis Tingler of Clifton Forge; her maternal grandparents, Whitey and Gladys Stalnaker of Covington; paternal grandparents , Ron and Isabelle Bradley of Clifton Forge; paternal great grandmother, Mary Hosey of Clifton Forge; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

The funreal service was held 2:00 Saturday, March 13, 2010 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dean Bowser officiating.

Friends may pay their respects anytime at the Arritt Funeral Home. The family received friends Friday evening at the funeral home.

The interment followed in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family suggest that memorial donations in TonyaÕs name may be made to , The March of Dimes, 2840 Electric Road, Suite 102-A, Roanoke, VA 24018.

The Arritt Funeral Home, Covington, Virginia, handled the arrangements.
