Odie Marie Tyree Sale, 79, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Thursday, April 15, 2010 in the Golden Living Center.

Born September 24, 1930 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Edward Baxter Tyree and Lena Pearl Ramsey Tyree.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hurshel E. Sale; a brother and a sister.

Surviving are three siblings, Lee Tyree and Edward Tyree, both of Buena Vista, and Dorothy Southers of Lexington; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens with Elder Garvis Wheeler officiating.
