Chrystal Claudine Brown, age 53, of 332 E. Prospect Street, Covington, Virginia passed away on Monday, April 19, 2010 at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.

She was born June 28, 1957 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, a daughter of Beulah Mae Broughman Brown and the late Clarence Taft Brown.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Clarence Taft Brown, Jr.

She is survived by her mother, Beulah Brown of Covington; a sister, Darlene Brown of Clifton Forge; five brothers, Richard Brown and wife, Rosalyn of Covington, Michael Brown and wife, Robin of Covington, Patrick Brown of Utah, Donald Brown and wife, Cathy of Covington, and Bruce Paxton and wife, Anna of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews, including special nephews, Patrick Brown and Everett Brown.

A graveside memorial service will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. in Central Advent Christian Cemetery, Clifton Forge, with Reverend Gordon Hammond officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects any time at the residence of Beulah Brown, 332 E. Prospect St, Covington, VA.
