Ronald Michael Pelter, of Buena Vista, went to be with the Lord, Sunday April 25, 2010.

Born December 27, 1958 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Charles Lewis and Betty Sue Pelter.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas Pelter.

Surviving are his wife, Carol; daughters, Amanda Hinkle and husband, Willie, and Danielle Butler and husband, Daniel, all of Buena Vista; one brother, Charles Pelter and wife, Terry of Front Royal; and two grandchildren.

He worked for Carpet Outlet for over 15 years and loved Nascar and the Dallas Cowboys.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at Pentecostal Outreach Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for the funeral expenses to Ronald Pelter, c/o Bank of America, Buena Vista, VA 24416.
