Kenneth Wayne Austin, 46, of Natural Bridge Station, Virginia, died Monday April 26, 2010.

Born January 13, 1964 in Rockbridge County, he was preceded in death by his parents, Earskin D. and Agnes P. Austin.

He was a member of the American Legion and served his country in the Marine Corps.

Surviving are his birth mother, Phyllis A. Hodges; his wife, Linda Dale Austin; children, Zachary Austin, Josh Austin and Elizabeth Austin; brothers and sisters, Earl D. Austin, Donna C. Hodges, Chrissy M. Deacon, and Edith C. Austin; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 1, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Nathan Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
