Theodore Divers Fitzgerald, 94, of Raphine, died Sunday, May 2, 2010 at his home.

He was born August 12, 1915 to the late Melville Cyrus Fitzgerald and Ida Jane Lunsford Fitzgerald.

In addition to his parents Mr. Fitzgerald was preceded in death by two sisters, Claudia Unger and Elizabeth Botkin; one bother, Melville Fitzgerald.

Mr. Fitzgerald was a lifelong member, deacon and elder of Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church.

Surviving is his wife, Nellie F. Fitzgerald, Raphine; a daughter, Virginia Anne Clemmer and husband, G. D. Clemmer of Fairfield; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a great great grandson.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 4, 2010 at 2 p.m. in the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church with Rev. Sandra Rushing and Rev. Kerry Foster officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Contributions can be made to the Mt. Carmel Presbyterian Church or a charity of choice. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 3, 2010 at the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington.
