Ruby Loretta Moore Plogger, 72, of Lexington, Virginia, died Friday, May 7, 2010 at UVA.

Born March 30, 1938 in Rockbridge County, she was the daughter of Myrtle Rose Moore, of Lexington and the late Robert Carl Moore.

In addition to her father, Ruby is preceded in death by a brother, Thurman Moore, and a sister, Helen Moore Clark.

Mrs. Plogger was a member of the Lexington Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her mother, Ruby is survived by her husband, Emmett L. Plogger, of Lexington; her daughter, Dreama L. Jarvis, of Lexington; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers: Walton Moore of Lexington and Carl Moore of Buena Vista.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 11, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. Larry Clark officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Monday, May 10, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home and Crematory, Lexington VA.
