Annabelle Campbell Gilliam, of Natural Bridge Station, Va., went to be with the Lord May 21, 2010.

She was born on October 29, 1941, to the late Allie Brisco "Newt" Campbell and Marvine Campbell.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy "Peggy" Austin and Evelyn "Bootie" Austin.

She is survived by her husband of 41 years, John Gilliam; two daughters, Tammy Argenbright, of Natural Bridge Station, and Lorie Gilliam Powell and husband, Glenn, of Salem; two granddaughters, Morgan Argenbright and Madison Powell; two adopted granddaughters, Bethany Byers and Shawna Camden; two sisters, Edna Moore and husband, Kenneth, of Buena Vista, Iva Jenkins and husband, Marvin; four brothers, Clarence Campbell and wife, Kathryn, Howard Campbell and wife, Angie, Kenny Campbell and friend, Karen, and Marvin Campbell, all of Natural Bridge Station; several nephews and nieces, as well as many special friends.

Special thanks to her church family, Faith Baptist Church in Arnold's Valley, and Rockbridge Area Hospice. The funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, May 23, 2010, at Faith Baptist Church with the Rev. Terry Bostic officiating. Burial will follow in the Glasgow Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, May 22, 2010, at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, Va.
