Laura Lucille Lynn Smith, 86, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died June 7, 2010 at Carilion Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born March 26, 1924 in Buena Vista, she was a daughter of the late Charles A. and Laura Shanks Lynn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Elwood M. Smith.

Surviving are her children, Dianne King, Barry "Pinky" Smith, and Susan Khospasand; two sisters, Mary Lee Mutispaugh and Charlotte Dudley; four grandchildren, Cameron and Stephanie Smith, Nessa Khoshpasand O'Hare, David Khoshpand and Megan Coleman; two great grandchildren, Makenna Smith and Ryan O'Hare.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, June 10, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Christian Becker officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
