Linda Sue Tyree Hartless, 59, of Fairfield, Virginia, died Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at UVA Hospital in Charlottesville, VA.

Born September 15, 1950 in Lexington, she was the daughter of Virginia C. Tyree and the late Archie Lyle Tyree.

In addition to her father Linda was preceded in death by her mother and father-in-law, Albert and Mary Hartless.

She was a member of the McElwee Chapel.

In addition to her mother, surviving are her husband, Palmer S. Hartless; two daughters, Melissa Virginia Greer and husband, Brian of Fairfield; Hope Lynn Hall and husband, Shannon of Goshen; one son, Brandon Steele Hartless and wife, Lisa of Southbury, CT; one brother, Tony Ray Tyree and wife, Betty of Irish Creek; six grandchildren: Tyler and Caleb Hall; Magdalena, Austin, and Lillian Greer; Logan Hartless.

Funeral services will be conducted 10 a.m. Friday, June 25, 2010 at Bolling Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Christinia Tutterow officiating. Burial will follow in Rockbridge Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
