Dallas Seay Gibson, 77, formerly of Buena Vista, Charlottesville and Richmond, died Monday, June 28, 2010, in Alleghany Regional Hospital.

Born February 9, 1933, in Buena Vista, she was a daughter of the late George B. and Daisy T. Seay.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tom E. Gibson.

Her greatest joys were her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Surviving are her children, Steve Driscoll and wife, Donna of Richmond; Anita Proffitt and husband, Bruce of Covington; grandchildren, Todd Driscoll, Tracie Royster, Dana Scheetz and Courtney Proffitt; great grandchildren, Cole, Clark, Jason, Jr., Riley and Bradley; one sister, Lois Henson; two nieces, Vicki Henson and Marla Brown.

A graveside service will be held at 9 a.m. Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Green Hill Cemetery with Rev. Butch Grow officiating. There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
