Christine Thomason Slough, 90, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Wednesday, July 7, 2010, in Golden Living Center.

Born July 24, 1919 in Roanoke, she was a daughter of the late Ira Morman Thomason and Geneva Dillon Thomason.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Slough.

Mrs. Slough was a member of Victory Baptist Church.

Surviving are a son, Dean Slough and wife, Faye of Buena Vista; a half brother, Melvin Dillon of Wertz, VA; two half sisters, Malva D. Smith of Glade Hill, VA and Dearl Holland of Wertz, VA.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dean Staton officiating. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, July 8, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
