Clara Worley Reid, 84, of Glasgow, Virginia, died Friday, July 23, 2010 at Golden Living Center in Buena Vista.

Born October 7, 1925, in Rockbridge County, a daughter of the late Charles Buchanan Worley and Arcie Branch Worley.

In addition to her parents, Clara was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Morgan Reid; a sister, Virginia Liggett, two brothers, John Lawrence Worley and Loyd George Worley.

Mrs. Reid was a longtime, faithful member of the Glasgow Baptist Church and retired from Burlington Industries with over forty three years of service.

Surviving are her son, Ronald M. Reid and wife, Sandra of Buena Vista; one brother, Charles W. Worley of Hillsville.

Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, July 26, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. William M. Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Glasgow Cemetery.The family will receive friends 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, July 25, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
