Gregory Franklin Heiser, 52 of Lexington, Virginia, died at his home Saturday, August 7, 2010.

He was preceded in death by his loving parents, Mary Cottman Heiser and Franklin Heiser; a brother, Norman Tingley and his beloved father-in-law, Lyle Montgomery.

Surviving are his dear wife, Teresa Montgomery Heiser; his step-son, Travis Montgomery, Kristen Smiley; his cherished mother-in-law, Carolyn Montgomery; grandson, Dakota Chase Montgomery; a brother, Paul Heiser; a sister, Mary Harper and husband, James Lerager of CA; two nephews, Adam and Shannon Heiser; a neice, Kimberly Heiser James and her family; his extended family, Gary Montgomery, Sandra Montgomery, Blaine and Andy Bane, Lela and Tristan Bane, Sheryl and Darrell Chittum, Elaine and James Walker, Victoria Walker and Mason Walker; his pet, Daisey Heiser.

Gregory will be long remembered and cherished for his generous soul, great spirit, loving heart and splendid sense of humor. We will forever carry him in our hearts with joy for how he enriched our lives.

A memorial service will be held at their home, 368 Muddy Lane, Lexington, VA at 7 p.m. Tuesday, August 10, 2010 for friends and family.

Arrangements are being handled by the Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
