Susan White Callaghan, 61, of Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge, Virginia, died there Friday, August 13, 2010.

She was formerly of Auburn Street in Low Moor.

She was born October 2, 1948 in Charleston , West Virginia, a daughter of the late William H. and Josephine Jarrell White.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norville Lee "Doodlebug" Callaghan in December 2008.

Susan was a Christian woman.

Surviving are her daughter, Beanna Johnson of Madison, West Virginia; one sister, Rhodena Smith Long of Charleston, WV; one brother, Woodrow Wayne Smith and his wife, Lorraine of Wilkesboro, NC; sisters-in-law, Loretta Broughman of Roanoke; Brenda Callaghan and Jewell Angle and her husband, Carlos, all of Low Moor and Mary Lou Kemper and her husband, Woody of Fincastle; brothers-in-law, Richard Broughman and his wife, Mariam of Madison, GA and Ralph Broughman and his wife, Nellie of Chesapeake.

The graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 16, 2010 in the Sunrise Cemetery in Low Moor with the Rev. Mike Fisher officiating.

Family and friends may assemble at Arritt Funeral Home by 1:15 PM to proceed to the cemetery.
