Mrs. Mildred Frances Crawford Smith, age 88, of 410 S. Craig Avenue, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, August 15, 2010 at the Woodlands Health and Rehab Center, Clifton Forge.

She was the wife of the late Cecil Franklin Smith.

Mrs. Smith was born January 10, 1922 in Craig County, Virginia, the daughter of the late Harless Crawford and Ida Adams Crawford and was the last surviving member of her family.

A funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 18, 2010, from the chapel of Loving Funeral Home with the Rev. Billy Price officiating. Interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Loving Funeral Home.

The family suggests that memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Faith Baptist Church Building Fund or the 50's Plus Senior Group, 311 Jackson Drive, Covington, VA 24426.
