Billy Eugene Lewis, 81, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Sunday, August 15, 2010.

Born May 13, 1929 in WV, he was a son of the late Denzel E. and Margaret Knapp Lewis.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Sorrells Lewis and a brother, Edward Lewis.

Surviving are three children, Pamela E. Lewis of Buena Vista, Carl E. Lewis and wife, Kathy of Lynchburg, Deborah L. Seaman and husband, Doug of Buena Vista;; five grandchildren, Jobie Coleman, Alex Lewis, Shane Seaman, Sarah Lewis, Brandy Seaman; one great grandchild, Kayla Coleman; and special friends from AA.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, August 20, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. Dean Staton officiating. Burial will follow in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, August 19, 2010 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Buena Vista, VA.
