Ruth Huffman Evans, 81, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died, Friday, August 27, 2010 at the Golden Living Center in Buena Vista.
Born September 12, 1928, on Riverview Farm Road in Rockbridge, she was the daughter of the late William Huffman and Regina Green Huffman.
Ruth was a member of the Buena Vista Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her husband of 62 years, Kenneth Evans, Jr.; a son, Paul Evans of Buena Vista; a daughter, Joyce Evans of Madison Heights; two sisters, Mary B. Humphries & Gladys Bates; two granddaughters, Sydney & Gail Evans, who brightened her days; two grandsons, Paul & Dustin Hansen.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. David Bain officiating. Thanks to the loving & caring staff at Golden Living Center in Buena Vista.
