Garnet Jean Lansaw, age 70, of The Woodlands Nursing Home, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Tuesday, August 31, 2010 at The Woodlands.

Born January 27, 1940, she was a daughter of the late Amos and Ella Burns Steele.

She was a homemaker and of the Holiness faith.

She is survived by two sons, Denny Martin and wife, Nora of White Sulphur Springs, WV and Chris Lansaw of Virginia; a sister, Arbutus Farmer of AltaVista; a brother, Carl Steele and wife, Wanda of Canton, OH; three grandchildren, Denny Martin, Jr., Daniel Ray Martin, and Heather Renea Martin; and a number of nieces and nephews.

According to her wishes, her body has been cremated. There are no services scheduled at this time.

The Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge, is handling arrangements.
