Nancy Hall Fainter, 78, of Glasgow, Virginia, passed away Monday, September 27, 2010 in her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born April 17, 1932 in Philadelphia, PA, she was a daughter of the late Cliff Hall and Janet MacLauren.

Surviving are her husband of 40 years, Fred O. Fainter; one daughter, Kim Fainter of Glasgow; three sons and daughters-in-law, Kenny and Vicki Empting of Germantown, TN, Randy and Cindy Empting of Ponca City, OK, and Gary and Diane Empting of Coppell, TX; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Cliff and Holly Hall of New Jersey and Sandy and Claudia Hall of Pennsylvania.

Graveside services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday, September 29, 2010 at the Glasgow Cemetery with Rev. Lester W. Kennedy, III officiating. In lieu of flowers, please make contributions to Rockbridge Area Hospice, P. O. Box 948, Lexington, VA 24450.

The family will receive friends at their Marlbrook farm home.
