Obituary for Osby Floyd Frazier, Sr. Osby Floyd Frazier, Sr.
Retired From VDOT After 25 Years Of Service

Osby Floyd Frazier, Sr., 80, of Rockbridge Baths, Virginia, died Sunday, October 3, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born March 10, 1930 in Rockingham County, he was a son of the late Osby Floyd Frazier and Lillian Frazier.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a son, Francis Lee Frazier.

He was retired from VDOT after approximately 25 years of service and was presently working with DTH maintenance.

Mr. Frazier was a member of the Lexington Moose Lodge and of Bethesda Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his wife, Shirley Frazier; children, Beverly Dudley of Natural Bridge Station, Osby Floyd Frazier, Jr. of Greenville, Vickie Darlene Earhart and Oscar George Frazier, both of Stuarts Draft; five siblings, A. C. Jenkins, Jr., Larry Jenkins, Joyce McCallister, Judy Shirey and Janet Jenkins; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 6, 2010 in Harrison Funeral Chapel with Rev. John Haney officiating. Burial will follow in McElwee Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 - 8 p.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
