Robert L. Emore, 62, of Lexington, Virginia, died Thursday, October 21, 2010 at Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born July 13, 1948, he was the son of the late Hamilton Lee Emore and Susie Breedlove Emore.

He was employed for many years at Burlington Industries.

Surviving are four brothers, Jim Sweet, David Sweet, John Sweet, all of Lexington, and Richard Sweet of Buena Vista; three sisters, Virginia Sweet of Buena Vista of Buena Vista; Bonnie Hardy of Spotsylvania; Betty Cardwell; two nieces and one nephew.

Graveside services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 27, 2010 at Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with the Rev. David Bain officiating.

Arrangements are being handled by Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home, Buena Vista, Va.
