Was Retired Maintenance Supervisor At Alleghany Memorial Park

Robert Louis (Bobby) Tucker, age 51, of 1126 South Fitzgerald Avenue, Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, October 24, 2010 at Alleghany Regional Hospital, Low Moor.

Born July 23, 1959 in Baltimore, Maryland, he was a son of the late Homer Lewis Tucker and Shirley Ann Davis Tucker.

He was a retired maintenance Supervisor of Grounds at Alleghany Memorial Park.

He hobbies included cars and he was an avid hunter. He loved his family and being with people.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandchild.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Lynn Reynolds Tucker of Covington; four daughters, Cordelia "Sissy" Inez Tucker Mattox and husband, Jay, Brittany Nicole Tucker, Melissa Meadows Hosey and husband, Richard, and Amanda Renee Meadows, all of Covington; three sons, Robert Louis Tucker, Christopher Louis Tucker and wife, Anna Plott Tucker, and Marc Anthony Tucker, all of Covington; three sisters, Cathy T. Bowen and husband, Charlie of Covington, Shelia T. Smith of Iron Gate, and Tonya Ely Harris and husband, Timothy of Covington; three brothers, Frank E. Tucker, David G. Tucker, and Lewis R. Ely, Jr., all of Covington; his step father, Louis R. Ely, Sr. of Covington; seven grandchildren; a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins; and a host of friends including Bill Waddle, Clayton Aldridge, Brian Adkins, James "Tank" Smith, Sean Douglas, and Shannon Milledge.

A memorial service will be conducted on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Cindy Hyler Carr officiating. The family will receive friends on Wednesday afternoon, from 12:30 p.m. until time of service at Nicely Funeral Home.The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to the American Heart Associating, ATTN: Joy Weeks, Memorial Chairman, 2212 Dressler Drive, Covington, VA 24426.
