Obituary for Dreama Arrington Carter Dreama Arrington Carter
Covington Church Of Christ Member Was American Red Cross Volunteer

Dreama Arrington Carter, 84, of 214 Dusty's Road, Covington, Virginia, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at her residence.

She was born January 17, 1926 in Alleghany County, a daughter of the late William A. Arrington and Laura Webb Arrington.

Mrs. Carter was a member of Covington Church of Christ. She was a former member of the Good Hope Rebekah Lodge #8 and Ladies of the Moose 911 When she was in good health she was a volunteer for the American Red Cross and also the Salvation Army.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert D. "Bob" Carter on July 5, 2010 and also by a son, James D. Carter; a brother, Elmer "Tuck" Arrington, and a son-in-law, Arthur J. Glaser.

Surviving are three daughters, Bobbie Glaser ; Debbie Weese and her husband, Elmer and Janet Martin and her husband, James, all of Covington; one son, Herbert D. Carter, Jr. and his wife, Kathy of Pelham, NC; nine grandchildren; nineteen great grandchildren; a brother, James Arrington and his wife, Eloise of and a sister in law, Dickie Arrington, all of Covington and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 2, 2010 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ken Goodmiller officiating. The interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Friends may pay their respects any time at Arritt Funeral Home. The family will receive their friends one hour prior at the funeral home. At other times the family will be at the Carter Residence at 214 Dusty's Road.
