Lisa Kapalczynski Gadd, 48, of Roanoke, died, Saturday, November 13, 2010 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

She was born June 13, 1962 in Fairmont, West Virginia, a daughter of George Kapalczynski of Westchester, Illinois and D'Arlyn Fair Kapalezyski of Homewood, Illinois.

Lisa was employed as a waitress at IHop in Roanoke.

She was a member of Word Life Ministers Church.

Lisa was preceded in death by a sister, Tamara Drew Kapalczynski; one niece, Jolene Autumn Russell and Joseph Edward Russell, Jr.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Dennis Gadd of Roanoke; step-son, Joey Wright of Covington; step-daughter, Elexis and Jamie Comer Gordonsville; four step-grandchildren; her twin sister, Lori Kapalczynski and her husband, Joseph Russell of Roanoke; a sister, Shar Quick of Monee, Illinois; two brothers, Ken Kapalczynski of Missoula, Montana and Ed Kapalczynski of Homewood, Illinois; her step-father, Joe Serbantez of Homewood, Illinois, and her step-mother, Ruth Kapalczynski of Westchester, Illinois; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 17, 2010 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Pastor Lyle Miller officiating.

The interment will follow in Alleghany Memorial Park.

Visitation: The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 8:30 p.m. at the Arritt Funeral Home.
