Mrs. Barbara Barker Gillespie, age 86, formerly of Covington, Virginia, died Sunday, November 28, 2010, at Richfield Recovery & Care Center, Salem.

She was the wife of the late A. E. Gillespie, Jr.

Mrs. Gillespie was born February 11, 1924 in Boone County, WV, the daughter of the late Stonewall J. Barker and Ella Maude Barker.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 1, 2010, at Cedar Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Chris Poluikis officiating.
