Obituary for Mark Wayne Anderson William Boyd (Punk) Combs
Retired Molder Was Central Advent Christian Church Member

William Boyd (Punk) Combs, age 71, of 622 West Ridgeway Street, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Saturday, November 27, 2010 at his residence.

Born September 7, 1939, he was a son of the late Robert L. and Ethel M. Sams Combs.

He was a retired molder for Acadia Polymers of Iron Gate and was a member of Central Advent Christian Church.

He loved hunting and fishing and was an avid baseball fan.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Corine Nicely Combs in November of 2000; a sister, Lucille Combs Jack; and two brothers, James E. Combs and Melvin Lee Combs.

He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Tonya and L. D. Wolfe of Selma; one grandson, Hunter Wolfe; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gene Peters officiating. The family received friends on Tuesday evening following the service at Nicely Funeral Home. The body was cremated following the service.
