Rose Mae Sargent, 79, of Natural Bridge, died Wednesday, December 8, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born October 29, 1931 in Washington, DC the daughter of the late Harry S. Eubank and Lena Fitzgerald Eubank. Mrs. Sargent attended the Natural Bridge Baptist Church.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Alvin L. Sargent of Natural Bridge; three daughters, Linda Edwards of Jessup, MD; Eileen Gattis of Natural Bridge; Dianne Arant of Salem; six grandchildren, Barry, Kevin, Jason, Ashley, David, and Dylan; nine great grandchildren.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.

The family will receive friends 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
