Martha Susan VanStone, 79, of Lexington, Virginia, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.

Born September 18, 1931 in Arrivada, Quebec, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Harry Hurley and Elsa Foreman Hurley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Leslie VanStone, and a granddaughter, Heather Nicole Edgerton.

Martha was a homemaker and a member of the New Monmouth Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Martha Debra Evans and Diane V. Hall both of Lexington, and Dawn Leslie Lee of Clover, SC; two grandchildren, Ashley Lauren Hall and Alexandra Catherine Hall, both of Lexington.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made to the Salvation Army, 1700 West Beverley Street Staunton, VA 24401.
