Barbara Haynes Day, 65, of Calabash, NC, died Thursday, January 6, 2011, in the Brunswick Community Hospital at Calabash, NC.

Mrs. Day was born September 12, 1945, in Covington, a daughter of the late William and Bettie Nicely "Anna" Haynes.

Surviving are her husband, Perry Day, Jr., of Calabash, NC; her son, Perry Allen Day, III, and his wife, D.J., of Manassas Park; three grandchildren, Perry A. Day IV, Kristen Day and Emma Day, all of Manassas Park; two sisters, Jeannie Lindsay and Betty Rucker and her husband, Preston, all of Covington; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Arritt Funeral Home

Interment will be made in Alleghany Memorial Park.
