Obituary for Albert "Big Buck" Potter Albert "Big Buck" Potter
Oxford Presbyterian Church Member, Veteran of WWII, And A VDOT Superintendent For 27 Years

Albert "Big Buck" Potter, 89, of Lexington, died Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at Kendal at Lexington.

He was born October 25, 1921 in Brownsburg, VA, a son of the late Walter Martin Potter and William Edna Potter.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Potter was preceded in death by his wife, Clara M. Potter.

Albert was a member of the Oxford Presbyterian Church, Veteran of WWII, and a superintendent for VDOT for 27 years.

Surviving are his two step-sons, Bruce Nedrow and Kenneth Nedrow; one sister, Mildred P. Macomber; five grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great great-grandchild; also nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, January 30, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Horace Douty officiating. Burial to follow at Timber Ridge ARP Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, January 29, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
