Obituary for Ray Lee (Teenie) Whitehead Ray Lee (Teenie) Whitehead
Retired Electrician Worked With H&M Electric Company

Ray Lee (Teenie) Whitehead, 87, of 213 Sherry May Lane, Covington, Virginia, died Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at the Golden Living Center in Clifton Forge.

He was born November 9, 1923 in Covington, a son of the late William F. and Louise Parrish Whitehead.

Mr. Whitehead retired as an electrician in 1985 from H & M Electric Company.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Surviving are a brother and sister-in-law, Bunk and Dolly Whitehead of Covington; five sisters-in-law, Louise Whitehead, Pat Whitehead, Mary Whitehead, and Ethel Whitehead, all of Covington and Pat Whitehead of Memphis, TN; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 3, 2011 in the Arritt Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Michael Fleenor officiating.

The interment will be made in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive their friends one hour prior to service time at the Arritt Funeral Home on Thursday.

Mr. WhiteheadÕs nephews will serve as active pallbearers.
