Loleta Fix Hartbarger, 85, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Saturday, February 26, 2011 in Stonewall Jackson Hospital.

Born May 11, 1925 in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late William Alexander Fix and Ellen Corrinne Fix.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn W. Hartbarger; a sister, Elizabeth Barger and a brother, Howard Wilson Fix.

Mrs. Hartbarger was retired after 40 years of service with Burlington Industries.

She attended Central Baptist Church.

Surviving are two nephews and their wives, Terry and Elaine Barger and Danny and Sheila Barger; five great nephews and nieces; six great, great nephews and nieces.

Graveside services will be private. The family will receive friends from 5 Ð 7 p.m. Monday, February 28, 2011 at Harrison Funeral Home & Crematory, Lexington, VA.
