Obituary for Darlene Begley Loving Darlene Begley Loving

Darlene Begley Loving, age 68, of 3110 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died at home surrounded by family and friends, Friday, March 11, 2011.

Darlene was born November 15, 1942 in Rainelle, West Virginia, the daughter of George and Margaret Begley of Bellwood, West Virginia.

She graduated from Meadow Bridge High School and Dabney S. Lancaster Community College.

She was retired from Dabney S. Lancaster Community College where she helped students with financial aid.

Darlene was a member of Lone Star Advent Christian Church, where she taught children Bible study for several years and was a member of the Upper Room Sunday school class.

She is survived by her husband, Terry Loving of Clifton Forge; her daughter, Regina Loving of Roanoke; and her son, Brian Loving and his fiance, Brenda Caldwell and her daughter, Camryn Nicely of Clifton Forge; a grandson, Matthew Mendenhall and fiance, Sarah Dove Nolan of Concord, NC; a great granddaughter, Isabella Mendenhall; a sister and brother-in-law, Shanda and Edward Hicks of Springdale, WV; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Delbert and Midge Woolwine of Elkhart, IN, Richard and Mary Begley of Lester, WV, and Larry Begley of Gauley Bridge, WV; a special niece, Barbara Ashburn of Raleigh, NC; an adopted brother and sister, Richard and Wanda Engleman of Clifton Forge; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held on Monday at 1:00 p.m. in Lone Star Advent Christian Church with Reverend Doug Moore and Reverend Louis Dodd officiating. Interment will follow in Central Advent Christian Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eddy Nicely, Wayne Nicely, Joe Wood, Earl Higgins, Ernie Nicely, Larry Denis, Charles Downey, and C.J. Nicely. The Family will receive friends Sunday evening from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Nicely Funeral Home and any time at the residence.
