Former Buena Vista Resident Dies At Age 67

Delois J. Staton, age 67, of Deepwater and a former resident of Buena Vista, VA, passed away on Friday March 25, 2011 at the Memorial Hospital of Salem County, Manningtown Township., NJ.

She was born in Norfolk, VA , the was the daughter of the late Harold and Gloria Lacky Robertson.

She was a longtime Deepwater resident.

Survived by her son, John L. Robertson and wife, Tammy of Pennsville, NJ; three grandsons; three great grandchildren; brothers, Willie Robertson and wife Debbie, Kenny Robertson and wife, Betty; and a sister, Patty Thompson.

She was predeceased by her husband, Lewis L. Staton (2000), brothers, Phil Robertson and Allen Robertson, and sisters, Brenda Robertson and Janet Tyler.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at the Bolling, Gross & Lotts Funeral Chapel with Rev. W. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery, Buena Vista.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home. A viewing will be held Monday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, NJ.
