Lisa Fay Haynes, age 45, of 4502 McKinney Hollow Road, Clifton Forge, Virginia, died Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia.

She was born September 28, 1965 in Clifton Forge, Virginia, to Roy Griffith Haynes and Mary Anderson Haynes.

She graduated from Alleghany County High School in 1983 and attended Stephen F. Austen College in Texas, Bluefield College, and Tennis College in Hilton Head, SC.

She worked for the United Parcel Service and FedEx, was a certified tennis instructor, and a member of Advent Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Roy G. Haynes.

She is survived by her mother, Mary Haynes of Clifton Forge; a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins; an special friends and coworkers.

In keeping with her wishes, her body has been cremated.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 4:00 p.m. in the chapel of Nicely Funeral Home, Clifton Forge with Reverend Gene Peters officiating. The family will receive friends on Saturday one hour prior to the service at Nicely Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial tributes take the form of contributions to Sharon First Responders/Sharon Volunteer Fire Department, 3910 Longdale Furnace Road, Clifton Forge, VA 24422.
