William Percy Duff, 86, of Buena Vista, Virginia, died Thursday, March 31, 2011 at Alleghany Golden Living Center.
Born January 18, 1925 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late William Hiriam Duff and Adena Catherine Dempsey Duff.
In addition to his parents Mr. Duff was preceded in death by his wife, Maeberry Frances Reid Duff; five brothers and one sister.
Mr. Duff was a member of the First Brethren Church in Buena Vista, retired from Burlington Industries after many years of service, and attended Clarks Old Time Music every Friday night for years.
Surviving are his two daughters, Bonnie Wade and husband, William from Rockbridge Baths, VA; Bridgett Johnson and husband, Kenneth of Mechanicsville, VA; one sister, Mable Taliferro; and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Monday, April 4, 2011 at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow at Rockbridge Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Bolling, Grose, & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Buena Vista, VA.
