Roger Eugene Truslow, 65, of Catawba, VA, died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Virginia Medical Center in Salem, VA.

Born August 20, 1945 in Rockbridge County, he was a son of the late Harry Truslow and Mildred Mason Truslow.

In addition to his parents, Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Truslow.

Surviving are his two sons, Roger Truslow and wife, Deena; Charlie Truslow; three daughters, Cheryl Varro and husband, Steve; Angie Philpott and husband, Robby; Star Truslow; one brother, David Truslow and wife, Virginia; two sisters, Dottie Clements and husband, Harold; Jeanette Cash and husband, Oakie; nine grandchildren.

A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011 at Green Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Dean Staton officiating. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, April 6, 2011.
